Technology
Our Technical Department works with the most advanced design software, which permit, once the 3D design is closed and agreed with the customer, realize programming of tooling/prototypes machining, saving us a lot of time.
In Aleaciones Estampadas, S.A. (AESA) we work with all main programming languages (FAGOR, ISO, HEIDENHAIN, SIEMENS). The work software allows machining simulations to be carried out, in order to control the trajectories of the tools, as well as to calculate the machining times of the parts and the tools.
TOOLING
We have our own Tooling Workshop joined to our Technical Department, which is responsible for development of new projects, maintenance of the tooling and producing new molds. It has several erosion machines (wire and electrode), three milling machines (up to 5 axes) and other machines (grinding machine, lathe, drills, etc.).
FORGING
In the forging section, Aleaciones Estampadas, S.A. (AESA) have a large number of eccentric and screw forging presses up to 1.200 Tn. It also has various heating methods, adapted to the requirements of the material and the part to be manufactured (induction furnaces, gas, chain, track, air, direct flame, etc.)
HEAT TREATMENT
Aleaciones Estampadas has an Alferieff heat treatment furnace for aluminum forged parts, with which quenching, tempering and artificial aging are carried out on the parts, obtaining the T6 state and significantly increasing their mechanical properties.
MACHINING
AESA machining section consists of many diversified CNC machining centers of 3, 4, and 5 axis, with automatic change of the pallet, which improve the productivity of the company. It also has a turning section, in which revolution parts and bar-turning parts are made, with 3-axis and 4-axis lathes with double heads and motorized tools.
The quality of AESA’s forging products is guaranteed by accredited external laboratories, such as AIDIMME, as well as by its own internal laboratory, equipped with metrology and mechanical testing instruments.
Aleaciones Estampadas, S.A. (AESA) offers different surface finishes that can be applied to forged parts, among which are: belted and polished, satin-finished, sandblasted, shot-blasted, vibro-polished, anodized (aluminum), ceramic coatings and electrolytic baths (chrome, silver, nickel etc).
